I'm a 3D artist living in Glasgow, Scotland. Having studied both Architecture and CAD at university, I currently work full time as a 3D artist at Soluis, a prominent UK architectural visualisation studio.
My job involves producing high quality images and animation in 3ds Max and Vray, as well as interactive walkthroughs and experiences using the latest game engines (Unreal Engine 4 and Unity), both working on and managing projects varying in scope from small detached housing to huge international stadiums and complex build animations.
While I specialise in modelling, I have plenty of experience throughout the entire production pipeline, including texturing, lighting, rigging, animation, rendering and post production. I also have some experience in tool creation (Maxscript), and a couple of scripts I've written are used on a day to day basis within the studio.
Outside of 3D work (which is as much a hobby and passion as it is a job!), I spread very thinly what little spare time I have left between game design, building and flying RC planes, photography and snowboarding.
I also find it excruciatingly difficult writing "About Me" sections.
